Matt Schoenfeldt helped create the eBITS program in the spring
of 1999 and has been eBITS Director of Technology since June of that year. Before joining eBITS, Matt interned with Qwest working on the highly successful WOW Idaho Internet
Education Program. While with the WOW Idaho Program Matt spoke at the National Rural Partnership Conference, developed and taught the WOW Educators Camp in Boise, and
participated in many business conferences in Idaho.
Before joining WOW Idaho in December of 1997, Matt was a student at BSU, pursuing a Broadcast Technology Bachelors
degree while working for KTVB channel 7, and helping to build and maintain a computer network for CNI, a Boise General Contractor.
Matt Moved to Idaho in 1995, from Fallon Nevada.
Matt's Background includes both broadcasting and computer/networking experience
from KTVB channel 7 in Boise and KVLV AM/FM in Fallon Nevada. Matt has always had an interest in computers and displays a deep knowledge of this in the classroom,
as well as the ability to communicate complex concepts in an understandable manner. He is a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer and assists businesses individually with
networking as well as selecting domain and hosting solutions.
